Coconut apricot wax is a plant-based candle wax blend made primarily from coconut oil and apricot kernel oil. These natural oils are refined and blended with small amounts of other plant waxes to create a wax that burns cleanly and evenly in candles.

Both are plant-based waxes, but coconut apricot wax is softer and creates a smoother, creamier finish on the top of the candle. It also holds fragrance beautifully, burns cleanly, and is often considered a more premium, luxe wax. Soy wax is firmer and can sometimes develop a more textured surface, known as frosting.

For the best burn, trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each use. Allow the candle to burn long enough for the melted wax to reach the edges of the container during the first burn. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn. For safety and longevity, avoid burning a candle for more than 3–4 hours at a time.

Soot is the small black residue that can appear when a candle burns improperly. It forms when the flame doesn’t burn the wax and fragrance completely, often due to a wick that is too long, drafts, or burning the candle for too long. You may notice it as black marks on the jar, nearby surfaces, or sometimes on walls.

To help reduce soot, choose candles made with plant-based waxes, such as coconut apricot, which tend to burn cleaner than traditional paraffin candles. It’s also important to trim the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn and keep the candle away from drafts, as these can cause the flame to flicker and produce soot. Proper candle care helps ensure a cleaner, more even burn.

Top Notes are the first scents you notice when a candle is lit. These are often bright, fresh, or citrus-forward scents that create the initial impression. They are typically the most delicate and fade first.

Heart Notes emerge as the top notes soften. Often called the “body” of the fragrance, these notes bring balance and character to the scent. Florals, fruits, and gentle spices are commonly found here, shaping the overall personality of the fragrance.

Base Notes are the foundation that remains as the candle continues to burn. These deeper notes, often warm, woody, or earthy, give the fragrance its richness and lasting depth, lingering softly in the space

Yes. Our candles are made with plant-based coconut apricot wax and clean fragrance oils that are vegan and not tested on animals. Synthetics also replace animal-derived musks, making our products cruelty-free. We are committed to creating products that are both thoughtfully crafted and kind to the environment and animals
